New Era Cap Company - World Headquarters
Buffalo, New York
Project
Description:
In
2006, New Era Cap Company, the official on field headwear of the NFL, cemented
their roots in Buffalo, New York by renovating an approximately 100,
000 square foot, three story existing building located on Delaware Avenue. To draw attention to the
new world headquarters, a dramatic sloped front, 5,100 square foot addition was
constructed to serve as the main entrance.
Anchored
by the existing building, the new entrance addition is three stories tall and
constructed with concrete floors supported by steel beams and columns. The
steel columns are supported by concrete grade beams and pile caps which are in
turn supported by the existing foundations and steel piles.
