Hornell Area Family YMCA - New Replacement Facility
This
approximately 35,000 square foot, two story facility is being constructed in Hornell, New York.
The facility contains a 8,700 square foot pre-engineered metal building gymnasium
and a 4,500 square foot natatorium. The first floor serves as the men's and
women's locker rooms as well as administrative offices, community room and
daycare. The second floor is occupied by aerobics, a wellness
area with a running track and music and arts studios.
Erie County Medical Center - Behavioral Health Center of Excellence
Located
to the east of the main hospital tower, the two story, 36,000 square foot
facility is part of ECMC's $25 million Regional Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.
The building serves as the hospital's 162-bed inpatient psychiatric program.
Niagara Falls Municipal Complex
Located in the City of Niagara
Falls, the municipal complex is a 132,000 square foot dual purpose facility.
The three story portion of the building houses the district attorney's offices,
four courtrooms, judge's chambers and jury rooms. The two story section serves as
one of the City's police headquarters along with a CSI crime lab, the 911
dispatch center and the City's emergency operating center. In the basement
there is a state of the art shooting range and 53 prefabricated detention
cells.
Nichols School - Math Science and Technology Building
To
keep pace with the constant changes in science and technology curriculum, the Nichols School decided to replace outdated
facilities with a new, state of the art math and science building. This 24,000 square foot, two-story structure
contains 8 math classrooms, 7 science classrooms with labs, a 45 seat lecture
hall, and the School's Information Technology Department. The design focuses on environmental
sustainability and flexibility for both teachers and students
SUNY Adirondack - Wilton Center
Located
just minutes from Saratoga Springs, this two story, 32,000 square foot facility
provides high quality education and support services that promote student
success. Students are offered a variety of courses at the center including
math, biology and chemistry.
SUNY Fredonia - Child Care Center
Located on the campus of SUNY
Fredonia, the LEED "Silver" rated facility provides child care for campus
staff, students and residents of the Fredonia and Dunkirk communities.
SUNY Rochester - Educational Opportunity Center
The existing 5-story steel framed former office building was renovated to house a vocational program for Rochester area students. The renovations converted existing spaces into nursing and cosmetology labs, early childhood education classrooms, mock surgical tech labs and a 400 seat multi-purpose room.
Moog, Inc. - Building 20A Addition
Founded
over fifty years ago, Moog Inc. is a worldwide leader in precision motion
control products and systems. In an effort to expand floor space for their designer
and manufacturing departments, Moog Inc constructed a new split level, 57,000
square foot addition to their existing production facility.
Socha Plaza - Mixed Use Facility
Socha Plaza is a three story,
60,000 square foot mixed use facility located on Route 50 in Glenville, New
York. Professional office space on the second floor is sandwiched between
luxury apartments above and restaurant and retail space below.
Erie Canal Habor Naval Museum & Superyard
The project is part of the initial
Erie Canal Harbor Masterplan, a waterfront development sited at the end of Main
Street and the western termination of the historic Erie Canal. The11, 100
square foot Naval Museum and 2,800 square foot Superyard building are
constructed adjacent to the commercial slip on the former Coit-McCutcheon
block.
Constructed for Ciminelli Real
Estate Corporation, this 31,000 square foot, single story building houses
high-tech and sophisticated medical equipment. With Great Lakes Medical Imaging
as the anchor tenant, some of the diagnostic imaging offered in the facility
include MRI, PET, X-Rays, Bone Densitometry and Ultrasounds.
Conventus is a seven story medical
office building located at the northern entrance to the growing Buffalo Niagara
Medical Campus. Sandwiched between University of Buffalo's future School of
Medicine and the future John R. Oishei Children's Hospital, Conventus intends
to provide practical, clinical and medical research space on its upper floors
as well as retail space on the first floor. Hidden below the structure are two
stories of parking for its tenants and patrons. Starting with its energy
efficient green roof, Conventus, Latin for "coming together" has achieved a
LEED Platinum certification.
New Era Cap Company - World Headquarters
In
2006, New Era Cap Company, the official on field headwear of the NFL, cemented
their roots in Buffalo, New York by renovating an approximately 100,
000 square foot, three story existing building located on Delaware Avenue. To draw attention to the
new world headquarters, a dramatic sloped front, 5,100 square foot addition was
constructed to serve as the main entrance.
Buffalo Niagara YMCA: Independent Health Family Branch
This
approximately 93,000 square foot, two story facility is being constructed in Amherst, New York to
service the suburbs north of the city of Buffalo. The facility contains a 21,000 square foot gymnasium with an elevated running
track and a 13,000 square foot natatorium. The first floor serves as the men's
and women's locker rooms as well as administrative offices and physical
therapy. The second floor is broken up into aerobics and wellness spaces.
State University of Technology at Alfred Allied Health Building Renovations
Allied Health Building is an existing 50,000 square
foot, three story, split level steel framed building located on the campus of
the State University College of Technology at Alfred. The renovation has transformed the building into a
high-tech educational facility and enables professors to teach students using
modern educational practices.
Seneca Nation of Indians: Allegany Administration Building
This
90,000 SF, 3- story administration building is tucked between two rolling hills
and features office space and meeting rooms for 190 employees. The building makes extensive use of natural
timber and stone materials for the interior and exterior spaces. The domed, wood framed Council Chamber is
built around 13 timber pole columns with 13 main glulam arch supports
signifying the 13 phases of the moon. A
sloped, 3- story main entrance window features a stylized depiction of The
Evergrowing Tree.
Erie County Medical Center: Center of Excellence for Transplantation & Kidney Care
Located
on the hospital campus, this 100,000 SF freestanding building will house
dialysis stations, outpatient education and outreach offices, a home dialysis
training center, and associated clinic space. The upper floors of the 4-story building will include medical office and
outpatient care facilities. A 250 foot
long axial corridor tethers the main hospital tower to the new building
providing a link for hospital patients and mechanical utilities. The axial corridor, designed for vertical
expansion, provides a backbone for future additions.
SUNY Potsdam: Maxcy Hall Ice Arena Renovation
Built
in 1972, Maxcy Hall is the ice arena and athletic facility serving the SUNY
Potsdam community. Increasing demand on
the existing arena from campus teams and community events, along with an aging
mechanical infrastructure, necessitated the renovation and rehabilitation of
the existing facility. The elevated ice
sheet was shifted six-feet to provide increased access around the rink; a new
elevated press box was added; and permanent, pre-cast concrete bleachers were
installed. Existing locker room space
was expanded and renovated.
SUNY Canton: Convocation, Athletic, and Recreation Center
This
142,000 SF athletic complex provides the students of SUNY Canton and members of
the north country community with a state of the art facility for athletic
events, intramural and community sports, and indoor commencement. The facility includes a Main Entry Concourse,
Field House with 3 basketball courts, Ice Rink, Fitness Center,
Lap Pool, Coaches Office space, and locker room and support spaces. The facility was designed to meet LEED Silver
design criteria and is expected to host college athletic events, local and
state high school athletic tournaments, concerts, and graduation.

administrative departments, Moog Inc constructed a new two story, 68,000 square
foot facility overlooking the adjacent ponds and scenic campus grounds.
