Project Description:
Constructed for Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation, this 31,000 square foot, single story building houses high-tech and sophisticated medical equipment. With Great Lakes Medical Imaging as the anchor tenant, some of the diagnostic imaging offered in the facility include MRI, PET, X-Rays, Bone Densitometry and Ultrasounds.
The structure is steel framed with metal deck on steel bar joists for the roof construction. The steel building columns are supported on conventional concrete spread footings. To resist lateral building forces, the structure utilizes steel moment frames in both directions to allow for the expansive glass facade and to maximize high-end office space.
