Description:
Located
to the east of the main hospital tower, the two story, 36,000 square foot
facility is part of ECMC's $25 million Regional Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.
The building serves as the hospital's 162-bed inpatient psychiatric program.
The
structure for this facility is of steel framed construction supported on
conventional spread footings.
Welded
steel moment frames are used to resist lateral wind and seismic forces applied
to the building.

structural engineering design for the facility including:
